OMAN | Marriott Residences

Marriott Residences is a DarGlobal project in Muscat, Oman, offered off-plan with one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. It carries a hotel brand in its name, and it is offered as a new launch, so the price is paid in stages against construction rather than in one sum at transfer.

Buying abroad adds a layer of questions that a purchase at home does not: which developments are open to foreign buyers, how title is registered, in which currency the contract is written and how instalments are staged against construction. We go through each of these with you rather than leaving them to the sales office, and we put the answers in writing before a reservation. The three bedroom sizes also serve different purposes, from a one-bedroom used for part of the year to a three-bedroom family home, so it helps to settle the intended use early, because it changes which floor and which orientation we would suggest.

Tell us which bedroom count you have in mind and we will request the floor plans, the current price list and the sales terms from DarGlobal. We handle Muscat enquiries from the same desk as our UAE work, so one adviser can tell you what an equivalent budget buys at home and whether the comparison favours Oman. A short call is usually enough to settle that before any documents are requested, and what the hotel brand covers in practice is one of the points we would go through on it.
